This is not an aircraft model, but a paint mask set from the Eduard brand designed for building the Handley Page Hampden B Mk.I model in 1:48 scale from manufacturer ICM. It contains self-adhesive, pre-cut masks made of kabuki tape for the glazing and wheels, covering the glazing from the outside. It is an accessory that requires the base kit, purchased separately.
The extensive glazing of the Hampden's cockpit and gun positions is tedious to mask with tape. The pre-cut masks follow the frames exactly, so you can spray sharp transitions with an airbrush without any cutting. The circular wheel masks help separate the tires from the hubs for a clean paint job.
Degrease the glazing, transfer the masks with tweezers, and press them into the corners of the frames. Spray thin coats perpendicular to the surface and remove the masks shortly after the paint has dried. If you also want to spray the frames from inside the cockpit, a separate TFace version is available for that.
This is an accessory (a mask set) that requires the base kit, purchased separately. The model itself, paints, and glue are not included in the package.
