Samurai Single Blade Nipper (Madworks)

A modeling nipper with a single blade, intended for separating plastic parts from the sprue accurately. The blade is hardened to over 58 HRC for long life and a clean cut. The single-blade design leaves only a minimal mark from the gate on the part, so less clean-up is needed after the cut. A guide pin helps keep the depth of cut constant, a return spring reduces hand fatigue and a stop protects the blade from overloading. It is not a kit but a tool.

• recommended method: nip with a margin first, then clean the rest of the gate off

This is a very sharp single-blade tool. Use it only on plastic; never nip metal, resin, photo-etch, fiberglass or thick, hard plastic with it – the blade may chip. Protect the blade with its cap and keep it out of the reach of children.
