Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the legendary German Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I Ausf. E heavy tank from the Italian maker Italeri in 1:56 scale. This scale matches 28 mm figures, which makes it popular among players of tabletop wargames as well as among collectors looking for a model that can be built quickly. The design is laid out as a simple assembly with fewer parts and no fragile detail, so the model stands up to being picked up and carried about often.
The Tiger I was among the most feared tanks of the Second World War. It was powered by a Maybach gasoline engine and its main armament was an 88 mm gun (KwK 36 L/56), which could destroy Allied tanks at long range. Thick frontal armor made it a hard nut to crack, though at the price of high weight and demanding maintenance. It was in action on all the main fronts from 1942.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and sand the joints down where needed. Finish and paint the running gear and the road wheels before the final assembly of the hull. For a faithful look, a base coat of primer followed by shading and weathering with washes and pigments works well, bringing out the bolt heads, the armor and the tracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
