Loose foliage from the German maker HEKI with particles in the shape of small leaves. It differs from finely ground granulate in its shape: on a crown it does not read as grain but as foliage, which is noticeable above all in the foreground of a scene and in a photograph. Medium green is the most universal shade, because it matches leaf in full season, that is how most deciduous trees look from June to September.
Coat the framework of the tree with flock adhesive or diluted white glue and sprinkle the material from above over a dish placed underneath, so that the excess falls through. Leaf granulate holds best on a thin layer of glue, while a thick drop sticks it into a lump. With a larger number of trees it proves itself to sprinkle inside a tall box; the material is then not lost. You will get a natural crown by layering two shades, as one flat color gives a model away sooner than anything else.
For builders of layouts and dioramas who add foliage to trees in larger numbers, and for modelers looking for a reliable base shade. It is a loose material; do not inhale it and keep it out of the reach of children. The manufacturer marks its landscaping goods as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
