1:64 Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno Kaido Racing V1 is a finished die-cast collector's model in 1:64 scale from the joint Kaido House and MINI GT line. The model is assembled and painted; it is not a kit.

A finished collector's model, which is neither glued nor painted. The body and chassis are cast from metal alloy, the wheels have rubber tires, and the hood opens to reveal the engine bay. The model comes sealed in a collector's box and is ready to go straight into a display case.
The Sprinter Trueno AE86 is a compact coupe of the 1980s with rear-wheel drive and the 4A-GE engine. The combination of low weight, good weight distribution and easy availability of parts made it a popular basis for circuit and drift specials. The Trueno version has pop-up headlights, while its sister the Levin has fixed ones.
Kaido House, under the designer Jun Imai, builds its versions in the spirit of Japanese racing conversions. Racing V1 is markedly sharper than the street version: a dark body with racing printing, a wide aerodynamic package, a front splitter, lowered suspension and racing wheels. Details such as the lights, handles and grilles are rendered in printing and as separate parts, so that the model looks good even when seen close up.
The model is ready to go straight into a display case: nothing is glued, painted or added. It comes sealed in a collector's box with a clear window, so it can also be displayed in its original packaging, which many collectors of 1:64 scale models prefer. The combination of a metal body and rubber tires gives the model a pleasant weight and sets it apart from ordinary toys of molded plastic. In a collection it works well beside the street version of the same car, as the two versions show how far one real subject can be taken in two different directions.
This is a finished collector's model, not a kit. It is not intended as a toy for small children.
