This extensive decal sheet gathers seventeen specific F-16C machines serving with US Air Force wings in the Pacific. There is so much technical lettering and data marking that it covers four fully finished models. The set was released in 2022.
The Pacific wing is a name among Viper enthusiasts. Alongside ordinary line aircraft you meet strikingly painted command machines, anniversary heritage schemes and specially finished aircraft for display flights. The units represented come from the Korean bases of Kunsan and Osan and from Misawa in Japan, spanning roughly the years 2016 to 2022.
Before transferring them, make sure the surface is glossy and perfectly free of dust. Lay the large markings down wet and draw the excess water off with the edge of a paper towel so that no bubbles form under the carrier. On riveted joints a stronger softener and a fine prick with a pin help. Finish with a uniform clear coat, which evens out the differences in gloss.
It is not an aircraft kit but a finishing set for a model you already have under construction. Choose the plastic, the paints and the varnish to go with it as you are used to.
