A plastic table with four chairs is furniture you will come across today on the terrace of a cafe, in a yard and on a village green at a fair. On a diorama it works as an instant signal of civilian life and at the same time offers a natural place around which figures can be arranged.
The package consists of four tables and sixteen chairs in 1:35 scale, that is exactly four settings of four places to sit. The division is not binding: the chairs can be arranged irregularly, some left overturned or stacked against a wall, and the tables placed separately, so that the scene does not look like a tidy dining room.
The set does without complicated preparation, but a few steps pay off:
In terms of color the set invites dividing up. White is the most typical for plastic furniture, but alternating with green, blue or red looks more convincing than twenty identical pieces. Fading of the upper surfaces from the sun, a darker deposit in the bends and scuffed edges of the backrests will give the furniture a lived-with look.
The set is aimed at builders of present-day civilian scenes in 1:35 scale and also suits scenes with soldiers off duty or the rear of a field camp. A model, figures, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
