Pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the glazing of the cabins and the wheel hubs of the Mi-28NE attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. They correspond in shape to the Zvezda kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mil Mi-28NE is the export designation of the Russian Mi-28N attack helicopter. The crew sits in two cabins one behind the other and the glazing consists of flat panes set in massive frames, because this is armored glass. The frames are clearly apparent in 1:72 scale and their sharp edges decide whether a finished model looks accurate.
The set brings pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the glazing of both cabins and masks for the wheel hubs. The cuts correspond to the shape of the parts of the Zvezda kit in 1:72 scale, so it is enough to lift them off the backing film and settle them.
Wash the clear parts and let them dry, as a mask comes off a greasy surface. Take them off with tweezers, lay them on dry and press them down around their whole perimeter, with the flat panes above all in the corners. Spray the frames first with the interior color and then with the outer shade. Take the masks off as soon as the paint is dry to the touch, as an over-dried application tears when they are removed and the edge of the frame then looks frayed.
The set will help anyone who builds the Mi-28NE in 1:72 scale and wants the frames of the glazing sharp and the wheel hubs separated from the tires. The package contains only masks; the model, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
