A figure of the Czech fighter pilot Josef Frantisek in 1:32 scale. The size in which the face and the equipment stand out beside a large aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Josef Frantisek wrote himself into the history of wartime aviation during a single summer. In 1940 he flew with 303 Polish Squadron of the Royal Air Force, his machine was the Hawker Hurricane and among the Allied fighter pilots of the Battle of Britain he was one of the most successful. He did not survive the autumn of that year. The figure is therefore not just a character for a scene but a reminder of a particular pilot.
The 1:32 scale holds its place among aircraft models where the builder wants a large piece with worked-out detail. A person of around 180 centimeters comes out in it at roughly five and a half centimeters, so the face, the equipment and the footwear can be worked out properly while the figure does not take up a whole display case. Beside a large model it performs an important service: only against a human being can you tell how massive the machine was. The version and the number of parts are given in the manufacturer's description.
Builders of large aircraft models and modelers who enjoy painting figures and want a particular personality for the collection will reach for it. It also serves well on its own on a base beside a display case. The same figure is available in other scales and as a bust too, so it can be obtained in whichever size suits you. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
