Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the 1973 Kawasaki Z2 750RS motorcycle in 1:12 scale from Aoshima. The package combines the basic model with popular custom parts, among them a short exhaust, cast wheels and modified handlebars. It also holds optional components such as wheels of an alternative type, a choice of shock absorber, disc calipers and a square swing arm. The flexible routing of the cables and brake lines is handled with vinyl tubing, and the steering head and the axles are fitted with metal screws for strength. The assembled model is about 175 mm long.
The 750RS, designated Z2 internally, was the Japanese home-market variant of the famous Z range. It was powered by an air-cooled inline four-cylinder engine of roughly 750 cc with DOHC valve gear. The machine became an icon of the Japanese motorcycle scene of the 1970s and to this day it is among the sought-after modern classics, which are often rebuilt into custom form.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic; the chromed and painted surfaces of the tank and fenders come out best after airbrushing and polishing. We recommend assembling the frame and the engine first and only then fitting the bodywork and painted parts. Glue the vinyl tubing with super glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
