A resin kit of the British heavy tank Mark IV in the gun version Male in 1:120 scale (TT) from the Hauler brand. The Male version carried two 6-pounder (57 mm) guns in the side sponsons and was intended for destroying fortifications and for fighting vehicles. Thanks to the small scale and the fine parts, the model suits dioramas and TT-gauge model railroad layouts. The exact number of parts is not stated here.
The Mark IV was a British heavy tank deployed from 1917, characteristic for the rhomboid shape of its hull with the tracks running around the whole outline. It existed in two main versions: the Male with guns in the side sponsons and the Female with machine guns only. Thanks to its 6-pounder guns the Male gun version was able to destroy machine gun nests, fortifications and enemy vehicles, and it played a significant part in the Battle of Cambrai among others.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. The small parts in a small scale call for care. Apply a primer, spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and bring out the broken-up surface of the tank with a wash in the recesses, drybrushing on the edges and pigments for mud effects.
The resin kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
