1:144 Messerschmitt Bf 109E and Junkers Ju 87B from Revell is a twin pack holding two separate aircraft kits side by side.
Responsibility details are not available.
The box holds two independent models: the single-engine Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter and the Junkers Ju 87B dive bomber. At the chosen reduction the finished replicas have a wingspan under ten centimeters, so they fit even into a display case where there is no longer room for larger pieces. The manufacturer includes a stand for each of the two machines for display in a flying position and a sheet of decals.
The Bf 109E was a light all-metal monoplane with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine and a conspicuously narrow main wheel track. The Ju 87B against it is a slow two-seat machine with fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings and a bent wing; its whole structure was subordinated to a steep descent with a load slung under the fuselage. The set therefore puts two different answers to the question of what an aircraft of the end of the 1930s should look like side by side in one box.
The small moldings will take only a minimum of glue, so reach for a thin extra-liquid type and apply it with the tip into the joint. Line the fuselage halves up dry before you join them. Spray the paint well thinned and in several light passes, or the fine engraving will fill in. Before the decals a smooth gloss clear intermediate coat helps, and a matte overcoat once dry.
The contents of the box are supplied unassembled and unpainted; do not look in it for paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
