Trumpeter USMC amphibious carrier AAV 7A1 in 1:144 scale. A plastic kit of the tracked amphibious vehicle of the US Marine Corps.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the AAV 7A1 (Assault Amphibious Vehicle) tracked amphibious carrier of the US Marine Corps in the small 1:144 scale from the Trumpeter brand. The smaller scale means a compact model with a reasonable number of parts, ideal for a shelf and for a military scene. Take the contents of the package and any decals from the instructions.
The AAV 7A1 is an armored amphibious carrier that serves the US Marine Corps to land troops from ships straight onto the shore and to move them on land. In water it is driven by water jets, on land by tracks. The vehicle carries a fully armed squad and is usually armed with a machine gun or grenade launcher turret.
Finish and paint the tracked running gear and the lower hull before you close the hull up. Dark washes into the engraved lines and dry dust or mud pigments on the lower areas suit the weathering. At a small scale clean edges and an unexaggerated shade come out best.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
