This is a resin detail accessory in the large 1:16 scale, not a kit of a vehicle. The casting faithfully captures the American M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle, the standard infantry weapon of the USA in the Second World War and after it. In the large scale the detail of the stock, the barrel, the sights and the mechanism stands out, so the rifle lifts the armament of figures.
The rifle is placed into the hands of figures or set into scenes as a weapon laid down. The part is cleaned of its casting block and mold release, sanded gently if needed and glued on with super glue. Handle it carefully because of the detail.
Build the wooden sections of the stock in brown shades with a hint of grain, and the metal surfaces in a dark metallic shade with fine highlights. You suggest rubbing and wear with a dry brush and washes.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package.
