An injection-molded plastic kit of the Land Rover Series III off-road vehicle in 1:24 scale from Revell. The model is supplied as a set of parts to be assembled and painted and faithfully captures the typical angular shape of this versatile British vehicle.
The Land Rover Series III was a British off-road and utility vehicle with four-wheel drive, built from the early 1970s. It became famous for its simple, rugged construction, its aluminum body and its exceptional reliability in rough terrain. It was used in civilian life, in agriculture and with armies and emergency services around the world.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic and sand the joints before painting. The body is best sprayed with an airbrush, and for matte military or utility shades a base primer comes in useful. Bring out the chassis and the interior with a dark wash, and for a working vehicle add dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
