An injection-molded plastic kit in the larger 1:24 scale from Academy. It captures the legendary American light all-wheel-drive military utility vehicle that became a symbol of the Allied armies of the Second World War. The model offers a richly broken-down engine and an opening hood, so it comes into its own beneath the surface as well.
The light utility vehicle of a quarter-ton capacity with 4x4 drive was among the most widespread and most versatile Allied equipment of the Second World War. It was used for liaison, reconnaissance and carrying personnel, and as a tractor for light weapons, and it became the pattern for a whole postwar generation of off-road vehicles. Its simplicity, toughness and cross-country ability made it a legend.
The larger 1:24 scale lets the detail of the engine and the interior stand out nicely; paint them before closing the body. Glue the parts with cement for plastic and sand the joints. The vehicle takes handsome weathering with washes and pigments that imitate dust and mud. You can leave the hood open and show off the drivetrain.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
