Reskit 1:32 AIM-9J Sidewinder (4 pcs) is a resin, 3D-printed set of four guided air-to-air missiles for the superdetailing of the underwing armament of fighter models.

The set contains four 3D-printed resin short-range AIM-9J Sidewinder missiles in 1:32 scale. This is not a kit of an aircraft, but an aftermarket accessory that will replace or supplement the armament of the base model with finely shaped castings. The missiles are fitted onto the pylons under the wings or the fuselage.
The AIM-9J was the American version of the infrared-guided Sidewinder missile derived from the AIM-9E. It brought solid-state electronics and reworked control surfaces for better agility in maneuvering combat. It was used during the Cold War and in the era of the Vietnam War, among others on F-4 Phantom fighters. Missiles of this type homed on the heat of the exhaust gases of the target aircraft.
Wash the parts gently clean of the remains of the manufacturing process, cut them from the carrier blocks and the supports of the 3D print and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Spray the missiles with an airbrush over a base coat of primer and tune the color and marking finish according to the particular carrier and period.
The accessory is supplied as a resin, 3D-printed set of parts, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
