A photo-etched set from the Czech brand Eduard intended for refining a plastic model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:32 scale. It contains fine brass parts that replace or supplement the elements that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully. It is not an aircraft kit, but an accessory to a model you already own.
The etched parts refine above all the cockpit and small exterior features. They typically add more faithfully shaped instrument panels, side consoles, seat harnesses and other fine details that raise the realism of the model markedly once painted.
Separate the etched parts with a sharp knife on a glass or metal surface and make the bends with a bending tool or two rulers. Super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a special glue for photo-etched parts works well for bonding. Degrease the parts before painting; any color-printed elements are not overcoated.
This is an accessory to a kit, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
