This resin, 3D-printed accessory from the Reskit brand represents the centerline multiple rack of the MER type (Multiple Ejector Rack) for models of the American F-105 Thunderchief fighter-bomber in 1:32 scale. A MER makes it possible to carry several bombs on one centerline pylon. It is not a complete aircraft kit but a separate item of equipment.
The F-105 Thunderchief was an American supersonic fighter-bomber from Republic deployed above all in Vietnam. Multiple ejector racks (MER) extended the number of bombs carried and are characteristic of heavy strike configurations. A faithful MER is essential to the impression of an armed model.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, separate it from the print supports and glue it with super glue. Apply a primer before painting and do the sanding with respiratory protection. In the large 1:32 scale even the individual locks and lugs of the rack stand out.
This is an add-on part, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
