The Do 335 was among the most unusual German airplanes of the late Second World War. It had its two engines arranged in tandem one behind the other in the fuselage: the front one drove a tractor propeller in the nose, the rear one a pusher propeller behind the tail surfaces. That did away with the drag of engine nacelles on the wing. The machine stood on nose landing gear and was exceptionally heavy for its category, so the main wheels were visibly compressed under its weight. The name Pfeil is attached to the type as a nickname.

The tread, the sidewall lettering and the transition from tire to disc tend to be sharper and deeper on separate wheels than on the parts in a kit, so the difference shows on a finished model at first glance. Which particular model the set is meant to replace parts on and how many parts it holds is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene; they are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down, then wash and degrease the wheels, otherwise the paint will not hold on them. When gluing, make sure the flattened part of the tire faces the ground and that both main wheels seat on the surface equally; otherwise the model will stand crooked and the error is conspicuous. Paint the tire in a dark gray tone rather than black, pick the discs out differently and finally dust the wheels lightly so that they do not look new.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
