F-14 (A,B,D) Tomcat - detailed landing gear set 1:32 is a resin and 3D-printed set (Reskit) for building the F-14 Tomcat fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for a plastic kit.

This is NOT an aircraft model but a detailed resin and 3D-printed landing gear set for the Grumman F-14 Tomcat carrier fighter in the A, B and D versions in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the plastic landing gear legs and wheels with more faithful parts; the wheels are made as weighted, so the model looks realistic, like an aircraft standing under its own weight.
The accessory is fitted into the F-14 plastic kit in the large 1:32 scale from Trumpeter. The base kit is not included in the package and the modeler has to own it. In a large scale the fine detail of the gear legs and wheels stands out particularly well.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut away the casting blocks; on the 3D-printed parts remove the print supports and the print resin residue. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The gear legs are usually reinforced with a metal pin for strength. Spray the wheels separately and bring out the tires with a fine wash.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
