A set of colored 3D decals from Kelik for a detailed cockpit of the McDonnell Douglas F-15 C Eagle fighter in its early production form, in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not an aircraft model. The pre-printed films, built up in layers, faithfully capture the analog instrument panel, the side consoles and the seat of the early machines. The parts are colored from the factory and give the pilot's compartment depth with no need for photo-etched parts or hand painting. The target kit is Tamiya.
The F-15 C Eagle is the single-seat version of the famous American twin-engine air superiority fighter. The early machines relied largely on analog instruments. Two F100 engines power it, backed by a powerful radar and armament for both medium and short range combat. The Eagle is among the most successful fighters of its era, with an outstanding record in air combat.
Degrease the interior surfaces before you apply them. Let the decal soften in water, transfer it into place and press it gently into the relief with a softener. A final light wash and a matte clear coat even out the look and pick out the individual instruments.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
