F-16 (F100-PW-220) open exhaust nozzle 1:32 - a resin detail set of the nozzle for the version with the Pratt and Whitney engine. It is not an airplane model. Target kits: Academy or AFV Club.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin (3D-printed) detail set reproducing the open exhaust nozzle of the F-16 Fighting Falcon in the version powered by the Pratt and Whitney F100-PW-220 engine. It renders the nozzle in the opened state with elaborate petals. This is a modeling accessory, not an airplane kit. The set is intended for Academy or AFV Club kits.
The General Dynamics (today Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter. It exists in versions with engines from two different manufacturers, and the type of powerplant determines a different shape and division of the exhaust nozzle. The variant with the F100-PW-220 engine has a characteristic arrangement of petals different from machines with the General Electric engine.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, separate the print supports and clean the surface up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the inside of the nozzle in dark metallic and burnt shades, so that the structure of the petals and the heat staining stand out.
This is a detail accessory. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
