MASTER 1:32 FuG217 Neptun radar antennas for the Fw 190A-6/A-7 R11 — turned metal antennas with a photo-etched part for the night fighter. It is not a model but a detail accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal antennas (rods) of the FuG217 Neptun airborne radar in 1:32 scale, complemented by a small photo-etched part with the antenna feet. It is a detail accessory for modelers, not a standalone model — it replaces flat or coarse plastic antennas with fine metal rods of a faithful round section. It is made for a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-6/A-7 night fighter in the R11 version.
The FuG217 Neptun was a German airborne radar used on night fighters at the end of the Second World War. The Fw 190 in the Nachtjäger (night fighter) version carried a striking array of rod antennas on the wings and the fuselage, and it is the typical recognition feature of these machines.
Cut the metal antennas from their gates, take the photo-etched part carefully out of the fret and bond everything with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Straight metal rods hold their shape better than plastic. Apply a primer to the metal before painting.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
