1:32 GBU-54 (LJDAM) bombs (4 pcs) brings contemporary guided bombs with a control tail kit and a laser seeker on the nose, in a size for large models of tactical machines.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set captures a contemporary guided bomb of half caliber, in which a control tail unit is attached to the body of the charge and a supplementary laser seeker to the nose. The package holds four pieces. In a large scale the fine edges of the fins and the intricate saddle cover of the conduit on the side of the bomb come fully into their own.
The basis is a classic charge, which the tail kit turns into a guided weapon controlled by satellite and inertial navigation. The laser head adds the ability to bring the bomb onto a target that is moving, which is why this combination appeared on tactical machines of the F-15E Strike Eagle and F-16 type. For a modeler it is interesting because one charge carries two clearly different kits.
Hang the bombs only after the machine has been painted, or they will be awkward to mask. The head of the seeker tends to be darker than the body, so set it apart separately and polish the lens or go over it with a drop of a gloss coat. The engraved lettering comes out well after thin dark emphasis in the joints. Leave the rest of the surface rather clean, because newly loaded munitions tend to carry no patina.
The goods extend the armament of a build in progress. Do not look in it for the machine itself or for paints.
