This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The set contains cast resin landing gear wheels for TBM-3 Avenger models in naval form in 1:32 scale. It replaces the plastic wheels of the basic kit.
Cast resin faithfully captures the tread pattern of the sturdy tires, the hub and the axle boss, and the wheels are usually made with a hint of load, which looks especially convincing on a heavy carrier machine. The TBM Avenger was an American carrier torpedo bomber of the Second World War; the TBM-3 version was built in large numbers for the US Navy and for Allied forces.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay down a primer before painting; the tread pattern and the hub will come out after a fine wash.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
