This injection-molded plastic kit in the large 1:32 scale from the Japanese firm Tamiya captures the twin-engine air superiority fighter F-15C Eagle. The model offers well worked-out solutions: screws for a firm attachment of the wings to the fuselage, die-cast landing gear legs, an openable radome and gun bay cover revealing the internal mechanism, movable intakes and tail surfaces, and a cockpit and airbrake that can be built in the open or the closed position. Rich armament, two crew figures and several marking options are also included.
The F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine American air superiority fighter with a large wing area and powerful engines, which to this day keeps its reputation as one of the most successful machines of its category. The F-15C version is single-seat and was used by a number of squadrons of the US Air Force.
Glue the large fuselage parts carefully with thin cement for plastic and watch the fit. The gray camouflage of the Eagle comes out best with an airbrush, fine accenting of the panel lines and lightening of the areas. Finish the cockpit and the armament bay before closing them up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
