This set contains an assembly of underwing pylons and launch rails for the MiG-29 fighter in 1:32 scale. Specifically it holds two APU-470 rails intended for medium-range R-27 missiles and four APU-60 rails for short-range infrared R-60 missiles. It is not an aircraft model but a precise accessory with which you replace coarser plastic parts and arrange the stores as the real subject carried them.
The MiG-29 is a Soviet and later Russian fourth-generation frontal fighter. The R-27 missiles served for combat at medium range, while the light R-60s were typical armament for close maneuvering combat. Faithful pylons and rails are the key to a realistic load, because it is by them that the correct configuration of an aircraft is recognized.
First wash the parts free of release agent residue, separate the casting blocks carefully with a sharp knife or a saw and bond them with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin and 3D prints. Before painting we recommend a primer, which unifies the surface.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, missiles and other parts are not included, unless stated otherwise.
