Tempest Mk.V, engine cover panels 1:32 is a CMK resin detail set with separately cast engine cowling panels that can be shown removed on a model, exposing the power unit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker CMK is a detail accessory, not an aircraft kit. It holds resin separately cast engine cowling panels for a model of the Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter in 1:32 scale. The panels can be placed removed or swung open to expose the engine, ideally together with a separate engine set. The inner faces of the panels carry faithful framing and stiffeners.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V was a British fighter from the end of the Second World War powered by the powerful Napier Sabre H-24 engine. The engine cowling was made up of detachable panels that the ground crew opened during maintenance.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The inner faces of the panels come out with metal shades and a fine wash. Sand resin with your airways protected.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
