An injection-molded plastic kit of the German 7.5 cm Pak 97/38 anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale from Dragon, together with figures of the German crew. The model captures both the gun and its crew in dynamic poses. The kit is richly broken down and offers a gun shield of scale thickness, a movable trail leg on the carriage, photo-etched parts and metal ammunition. The 7.5 cm Pak 97/38 was created by combining the barrel of a French 75 mm field gun (the model 1897) with the more modern carriage of the German Pak 38 and adding a muzzle brake. This thrifty solution let the Germans use their large stocks of captured French barrels as anti-tank guns. More than three thousand were built and the weapon served above all on the Eastern Front into the late part of the war.
Finish and paint the carriage and breech assembly before you attach the shield. Glue and paint the crew figures separately first; finish the faces and uniforms with a brush, shading them step by step. After the gun has been sprayed with an airbrush, bring out the detail with a wash and add dust pigments; the whole scene with the crew can be treated as a small diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
