This is a plastic model kit in 1:35 scale, a military subject carrying the designation B1. 1:35 scale

1:35 is the most widespread scale for ground vehicles. A medium-sized vehicle measures around twenty centimeters in it, which is enough for it to be fitted out with tools, tie-downs and other small details while still fitting into an ordinary display case. A practical advantage is the range of accessories: in this scale you will find photo-etched sets, turned barrels, replacement tracks and figures, so the model can be equipped to taste.

Building and painting

Cut the parts off with sprue cutters or a sharp blade and sand the remains of the cut so that the joints line up. Test fit before gluing, above all on the large hull surfaces, where a deviation shows up along the whole outline. The parts are joined with a cement for plastic models. The chassis and the interior parts are easier to paint before they are glued together, and the whole is then only tied together. Wash and degrease the model before painting so that the paint holds. The building sequence, the number of parts and the color schemes on offer are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
