An injection-molded plastic kit of the British A34 Comet cruiser tank in 1:35 scale from the Bronco company. This well-executed model with fine detail is complemented by photo-etched parts and decals. It is built from individual parts and is supplied unpainted.
The A34 Comet was the last British tank that managed to take part in the fighting of the Second World War. It was in essence an improved Cromwell cruiser tank armed with a powerful 77 mm gun (derived from the celebrated 17-pounder). The Comet combined decent firepower, armor and high mobility, and it remained in the service of the British army long after the war.
First assemble the running gear; cut the photo-etched parts off and glue them with super glue. Spraying the hull with an airbrush in the shade of British khaki (SCC) is recommended, and rendering the patina with washes, filters and pigments for dust and mud effects on the running gear. Fill and sand the seams carefully.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
