The GAZ-AAA was the three-axle cargo version of a light truck built under license, and it was among the most widespread Soviet utility vehicles of the 1930s and 1940s. Drive to the rear two axles raised both its load capacity and its mobility across country, thanks to which the vehicle served to carry cargo and troops and became the basis of many specialized bodies, from workshop trucks to weapon carriers. It was committed in enormous numbers in the rear areas and at the front.
The model holds fine parts and, where applicable, a cab interior or an engine, which you should paint before closing the body. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and cut them off carefully. Soviet vehicles as a rule wore a uniform green color: after the base shade and the varnish, bring out the detail with a wash and add pronounced dust and mud pigments on the wheels, the fenders and the chassis.
