This kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer MiniArt represents the German three-ton truck 3,6-36S in its mid production version (the PMQ600 body type) in 1:35 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model with rich detail and photo-etched parts. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Three-ton trucks formed the backbone of German army supply in the Second World War. Vehicles of the 3,6-36S family served to carry personnel, materiel and equipment on every front. The mid production version simplified some parts for the sake of wartime output and carried the typical cargo body.
MiniArt kits tend to be intricate - finish and paint the engine bay, the chassis and the cab step by step before the final assembly. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a faithful appearance use a primer filler, an airbrush and then washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the chassis and the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
