A set of 20 pieces of the German M24 Stielhandgranate stick hand grenade in 1:35 scale from the maker FLY, made in resin by 3D printing. It is not a model and not a toy; these are small diorama accessories and armament for figures. They find use as the equipment of soldiers, as cargo in crates, tucked behind belts or scattered about a battlefield. The parts are fine and fragile, and all the more faithfully do they capture the characteristic shape of the grenade.
The Stielhandgranate (literally stick hand grenade) was the typical German hand grenade of both world wars, nicknamed the potato masher for its shape. Its distinguishing feature is a long wooden handle with the charge at its end; the handle extends the lever of the arm and makes it possible to throw the grenade further than the classic egg-shaped one. The igniter was a friction type, activated by pulling a cord led out of the bottom of the handle. The M24 version became one of the most widespread images of the German infantryman of the Second World War. The exact period details of the individual sub-versions are not stated here.
The accessories are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
