Aber 1:35 photo-etched grilles for the BT-7 and BT-42 is a fine metal set that replaces the plastic covers of the cooling openings with faithful mesh.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Aber photo-etched grilles are a photo-etch set in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is not a model of a vehicle but a metal accessory for plastic models of the Soviet BT-7 fast tank and the Finnish BT-42 assault gun, which was based on the BT-7 chassis. The set replaces the plastic grilles and covers of the cooling openings over the engine compartment.
The plastic covers have the mesh only suggested and look flat. The Aber photo-etched parts replace them with thin see-through mesh, so the structure of the engine compartment shows beneath it and the upper deck looks more faithful. The set covers the BT-7 and the BT-42 derived from it alike.
Nip the parts out of the photo-etched sheet, clean up the tags and make the bends along the pressed grooves. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, degrease the metal and spray it with a primer.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
