A color printed interior by Quinta Studio for the Henschel 33D1 truck in 1:35 scale. The parts of the QD range are dipped briefly in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Henschel 33D1 was a German truck that appeared during the Second World War in rear and front-line service in a number of forms, from a flatbed to box bodies. The cab is fairly open to view on a model, so it is worth investing in it.
Fully colored interior elements with a raised surface, printed and carried on decal paper. The instrument panel, the upholstery and other details of the cab are already colored and shaded, so laborious fine work with a brush is avoided.
The parts of the QD range are applied like a decal. Cut the part from the sheet, leave it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into the place intended. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds reliably on gloss varnish, so coat the cab with a gloss varnish of the Future or Tamiya X-22 type after painting it. On an uneven part a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they would attack the printed resin.
It suits a modeler who wants the interior finished quickly and in a consistent color scheme. It also suits a build for a diorama, where the cab doors tend to be open and the inside is in plain sight.
The set is an accessory for a kit in 1:35 scale. The model itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
