The single resin figure 1:35 IDF tanker 1973 represents a crew member of an Israeli armored vehicle from the Yom Kippur War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A separate resin casting from the brand Royal Model will complete a model of an Israeli armored vehicle with a single figure. The figure is modeled for a turret hatch, so it brings a finished model to life without your having to build a whole diorama for it.
On 6 October 1973 Egyptian and Syrian formations attacked simultaneously in Sinai and on the Golan Heights. Israeli battalions went into the counterattack with Shot vehicles, that is rebuilt Centurions, and with American types of the Magach series. The men wore fireproof coveralls and a helmet with built-in headphones and a throat microphone. It is this silhouette that sets an Israeli tanker apart from his European counterparts at a glance.
After washing the part and removing the casting block, seat the figure dry in the hatch: the turret opening fits differently on every kit, and sanding the mating surface is easier before painting than after it. The coveralls should come out a pale sandy shade with a barely noticeable green hint, not olive. Fine-tune the dust with a light pigment on the boots and the elbows, and bring the belt and the pouches to life with a dark glaze.
The figure is supplied unpainted, without paints and glue.
