Bronco 1:35 M24 Chaffee light tank is an injection-molded plastic kit of the American light tank of the late Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the manufacturer Bronco captures the American M24 Chaffee light tank in 1:35 scale. The set offers finely rendered running gear, a turret with the gun, individual track links and photo-etched parts; the exact contents of the package are given on the box.
The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank introduced at the close of the Second World War as a replacement for the obsolete M3 and M5 Stuart. It carried a 75 mm gun, its running gear rested on torsion bar suspension and it was powered by a pair of gasoline engines. The crew consisted of five men. For a light tank it excelled in mobility and in decent firepower; besides the close of the Second World War it also served in the Korean War, in Indochina and in the armies of a number of states for a long time afterward.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the hull interior before you close it up - once it is glued the running gear is hard to reach. Glue the individual track links with liquid cement for plastic and let them become tacky so that you can let them sag naturally over the return rollers and the idler. Spray the base coat with an airbrush, use a lighter tint on the edges to lighten them, and for the weathering use washes in the recesses and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
