MiniArt 1:35 Market Garden, the Netherlands 1944 is a set of military figures with resin heads, weapons and gear, set in the fighting of Operation Market Garden.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of figures in 1:35 scale from MiniArt captures paratroopers and soldiers from the fighting in the Netherlands in 1944. The box contains five figures with new resin heads and an extended set of weapons and gear. The combination of injection-molded plastic and finely shaped resin heads allows a markedly more convincing rendering of the faces and the helmets than ordinary plastic parts allow.
Operation Market Garden was a large Allied airborne and ground offensive in the autumn of 1944 whose aim was to seize the key bridges in the Netherlands and open the way into Germany. Airborne units and German defenders alike were committed to the fighting, and it is exactly this atmosphere that is reflected in the poses and equipment of the figures: period uniforms, personal weapons and field gear.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic; first wash the remains of the mold release agent off the resin heads and glue them on with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend primer before painting. The faces suit an approach from darker tones to light ones, while filters and light highlighting of the folds suit the uniforms. Bring the weapons and the gear to life with dry-brushing and light soiling with pigments.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
