A premium injection-molded kit of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf. J version, its last and simplified production form. The kit is conceived as a 2 in 1 — it makes it possible to build the late Ausf. J version or the observation (command) version. It offers a full interior from the transmission at the front to the exhaust at the rear, an alternative clear part for the hull and turret roof to show the inside, working suspension and individual workable track links, two photo-etched frets and decals.
The Ausf. J was the final type of the Panzer IV line. To simplify production and save resources, the electric turret traverse and the auxiliary generator were deleted — the turret was traversed by hand. The space freed up served for additional fuel, which considerably increased the vehicle's range. The Panzer IV was the backbone of the German armored forces throughout the war and the Ausf. J represents its last combat form.
Build an interior kit in layers: first finish and paint the transmission, the fighting compartment and the engine, and only then close the hull. With the clear roof parts you can leave the inside permanently visible. Bring the inside to life with washes and a dry brush and assemble the individual track links patiently. Weather the outer surfaces with pigments and mud effects; emphasize the breakdown of the armor with a panel wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
