This is a detailed upgrade set from Rye Field Model with photo-etched parts and other refining components, made to improve the plastic kit of the British Sherman VC Firefly tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a model in its own right but an accessory that raises the fidelity and the level of detail of the basic kit.
The Sherman VC Firefly was a British conversion of the American M4 Sherman medium tank, with a powerful 17-pounder gun built into its turret. Thanks to it the Firefly could destroy even the heaviest German tanks and became one of the few Allied vehicles of the Second World War able to match the Panther and the Tiger at range.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them with a photo-etch bending tool or a metal ruler. Glue the small metal parts with super glue. Before painting, degrease the whole assembly and spray it with a primer so that the paint grips better.
This is an accessory set, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
