The model captures the cast hemispherical turret, the low hull and the running gear with large road wheels. The kit belongs to the brand's detailed series and holds a quantity of small and photo-etched parts and a worked-up interior, unless stated otherwise.
The T-54 was a Soviet medium tank developed shortly after the Second World War, which became one of the most widespread tanks of the Cold War. In its hemispherical turret it carried a 100 mm gun and combined strong firepower with good mobility and a low silhouette. The early T-54-2 model 1949 form represents one of the first production shapes of this type.
This is a detailed kit with a quantity of parts and an interior, suited rather to more experienced modelers. Assemble and align the running gear and the internal elements before you close the hull; if you want to show the interior, paint it in sections. Glue the small parts with thin cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Apply the base over a primer with an airbrush; washes and dust pigments will bring the Soviet green to life.
