A resin detail set in 1:35 scale: a pair of racks for spare track links for the German StuG III Ausf. G assault gun. The set sharpens up the stowage points on the hull where crews stored spare track links, which at the same time served as extra protection. The execution is the movable version in variant 1. This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a whole vehicle.
The Sturmgeschutz III (StuG III) was a German tracked assault gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. The Ausf. G version was the most numerous and was used both for direct fire support of the infantry and for destroying armored vehicles. Spare track links hung on the hull and the superstructure belong to the typical field modifications that give a model an authentic combat-worn look.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks; sand the resin with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the racks and any spare links in the base color of the vehicle, suggest the bare metal rubs with graphite or silver and add rust and dust with pigments.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
