A miniature vintage gramophone with a horn in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. The part is made in resin by high-resolution 3D printing (SLA) and serves as a diorama accessory, not as a model in its own right.
A gramophone is a rewarding period prop that gives a scene the atmosphere of rest and of civilian life. Standing on a table or a crate in the rear area of a unit or in a parlor, it draws the eye at once and adds to the story of the diorama.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts and let them dry. Remove the print supports carefully, especially on the thin horn, and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The body comes out well with a wood glaze, the metal horn with polished metal or lacquer, and the small details are finished off with a brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue and the paints are not included in the package.
