The real subject

The figure captures a German soldier in the harsh conditions of the Eastern Front, dressed in a heavy sheepskin coat over his standard uniform. It will complete a winter diorama or a scene with vehicles from the Eastern Front superbly and give it the atmosphere of cruel frost.

Building and painting tips

First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply primer before painting. Paint the coat and the uniform in acrylics with an emphasis on the texture of the fleece and the folds, and the face by layering and shading.
