This is a photo-etched detail set from the brand Voyager Model in the basic rendering, not a kit. It holds fine photo-etched parts for making a model of the American 155mm M1A1 Long Tom heavy gun in 1:35 scale more accurate. The metal parts replace or supplement the plastic sections and give the carriage and the accessories sharper detail.
The M1A1 Long Tom was an American heavy gun of 155 mm caliber, one of the most effective artillery systems of the Second World War. It was marked by a long range and accuracy and was used for shelling at long distance as well as for counter-battery fire. It served during the war and for a long time after it with a number of armies.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, bend them over an edge and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal surfaces and prime them before painting. Try the parts dry first and proceed according to the enclosed instructions.
