The vehicle is based on the family of Chinese tracked carriers and is adapted for directing units on the battlefield.
The WZ-701 is a Chinese tracked armored command and signals vehicle (ACCV) derived from the carrier family of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It serves as a mobile command post: it carries signals equipment and room for staff work, so commanders can direct units from a protected tracked vehicle in the field itself. In design it follows on from the period generation of Chinese armored personnel carriers of the second half of the 20th century.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish the running gear before closing the hull. Bond the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush; for Chinese equipment a uniform green or sand finish works well, brought to life by picking out the edges, a wash in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
