1:35 ZIS-5 Family Wheels Set

ZIS-5 Family Wheels Set 1:35: wheel set, MiniArt

An injection-molded plastic wheel set from MiniArt in 1:35 scale, intended for Soviet trucks of the ZIS-5 family. It is neither a kit of a whole vehicle nor a standalone model; it is an accessory that gives your model faithfully shaped wheels with a front, rear and spare set. The set makes it possible to replace or supplement the wheels on kits of the ZIS-5 family, and because the tire and the rim are separate it makes painting easier. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.

Use and tips

• The set is intended for vehicles of the ZIS-5 family in 1:35 scale; check before buying that it matches your kit.
• It holds front, rear and spare wheels; the rims and the tires can be painted separately.
• Glue the plastic parts with thin cement for plastic and clean the flash off the contact surfaces of the tires.
• Spray the tires dark gray (not black) and bring them out with dust pigment; paint the rims to match the vehicle.

Who the set is for

For modelers who build Soviet trucks of the ZIS-5 series in 1:35 scale and want good wheels that are easy to paint, or a replacement for damaged or less detailed parts from the box.

It is an accessory, not a vehicle model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
