An extensive plastic kit of the American aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk CV-63 in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. The model offers a detailed hull, a broken-up flight deck and photo-etched parts, which allow an impressive flagship piece to be built for a collection.
The USS Kitty Hawk was the lead ship of the class of the same name of multipurpose aircraft carriers of the US Navy. She served for decades and was among the last large carriers with conventional propulsion. Carrier aircraft of various types operated from her deck, from fighters to helicopters and early warning machines.
With a large ship model, consider building the hull as a whole, or to the waterline according to the stand. Photo-etched railings, a primer and an airbrush prove their worth; you create the wear of the deck and the sides with washes and drybrushing. Paint the small deck vehicles separately before fitting them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
